SUMMER 2007
To ensure another safe & enjoyable season of pool fun,
please read and familiarize yourself and your guests with the following pool
rules and regulations.

RESIDENT ADMISSION POLICY
- Residents must present their Shadow Lake Village resident
ID card to the lifeguard on duty and sign the attendance
logbook.
- Due to liability factors no one is permitted in the
pool area when a lifeguard is not present.
- Persons suspected of being under the influence of drugs
or alcohol shall be prohibited from entering the pool.
GUEST ADMISSION POLICY
- Residents must accompany and stay
with their guests at all times as residents are responsible for
their guests.
- Guests must leave the pool area when their sponsoring
Association member leaves.
- There is a limit of 4 guests per household.
- Guest passes must be purchased by the resident prior
to entering the pool area.
- Residents may purchase guest pool passes at the Association
Office during office hours Monday thru Friday from 9A.M. to 1 P.M. After office hours and on weekends and
holidays, passes may be purchased at the Security Gatehouse.
- All passes must be paid for by check, payable to Shadow
Lake Village Condo Association.
- Guest passes will be color coded and marked “seasonal”;
“weekday” or “weekend/holiday.”

Weekday guest
pass is $5.00
Weekend/Holiday
guest pass is $7.00
Each guest
must have a pass. Weekday and
weekend/holiday passes must be surrendered to lifeguard upon entering the pool
area.
- Refunds will not be given for
passes not used or for inclement weather.
- Children ages 4 to 16 are admitted after 10 A.M.
and must leave the pool area by 1 P.M.
There is no charge for this age group.
- Children under the age of 4 are not
permitted in the pool area at any time.
- A
RESIDENT MUST ACCOMPANY AND REMAIN WITH THEIR GUESTS IN THE POOL AREA AT
ALL TIMES. THERE WILL BE NO
EXCEPTIONS.
GENERAL RULES
- Eating and drinking is not permitted in the immediate
pool area. However, it is permitted in the raised platform area.
- Glass is not permitted anywhere. Alcoholic beverages
are not permitted AT ANY TIME.
- Diving is not permitted.
- Running, jumping, rowdy behavior, etc. is not permitted
in pool area.
- Small tubes, swim vests, and water wings may be used as
swim aids. All other flotation devices are not permitted.
- Pets and other animals are not permitted inside the
pool area, except for service animals such as Seeing Eye dogs.
- Cover-ups must be worn outside the pool area, i.e. to
and from pool, in the Clubhouse. Also, no bare feet are allowed in the
Clubhouse.
- Aluminum and tin cans are to be placed in the recycling
containers. Newspapers are to be removed from the premises.
- In the event of a thunderstorm or lightning, the
lifeguard will ask that all swimmers leave the water at the first sign of
the storm. Swimmers will not be permitted to return to the water until all
signs of thunder or lightning are over.
NOTE: POOL GUARDS HAVE THE
AUTHORITY TO ENFORCE ALL RULES AND REGULATIONS. FOR YOUR SAFETY, PLEASE
COOPERATE WITH THE POOL STAFF.
COMPLAINTS SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO ASSOCIATION OFFICE AND NOT
TO POOL STAFF.
