RESIDENTS’ RESPONSIBILITIES

1.                  Use good judgment and common sense to take necessary precautions during storm emergency conditions (i.e. provide for stock of food supplies; arrange for necessary prescriptions to be on hand, re-schedule medical appointments; tune in at a regular frequency to SLV Channel 21 for latest updates on emergency conditions; and communicate any emergency to 911.

2.                  Clearing and removal of personal vehicles in parking spaces (after SLV has provided back-out capability).

3.                  Sanding of hazardous areas in vicinity of unit (maintain a supply of sand by timely requests to the Maintenance Department).

4.                  Cover all requests for maintenance via “Work Request” (by submitting written “Work Request” or by telephone – 842-2201).  PLEASE NOTE:  Voice Mail messages are addressed promptly in order of priority without acknowledgement to resident.  Avoid submission of “routine” work requests during storm emergency conditions.

5.                  Be tolerant and reasonable in your expectations!  Please keep in mind storms do interrupt normal routines, and it may be necessary to make adjustments.
