Q. How do I contact the different departments in Shadow Lake Village?
A. Administration: 732-842-9580
Maintenance: 732-842-2201
Security: 732-842-7977
Q. How is responsibility shared between me and the Maintenance Department for the maintenance of my home?
A. Please check pages 6 & 7 of your Rules & Regulations book. For any additional questions, call the Maintenance Department at 732-842-2201.
Q: I have a problem. Who do I contact to help solve it?
A: The first step would be to call the appropriate department, usually Maintenance, and submit a work order. If that is not successful, you should go to your Condo Rep, who is familiar with the situation in your immediate neighborhood and may be able to give assistance. If neither of those approaches gives relief, the next step should be to look at the BOT organizational chart in the "Documents" section of this site and determine which Board of Trustees member is responsible for your area of concern. Contact that Board member for the latest information. As a last resort, come to a business meeting of the Board and voice your problem in a public forum.
Q. When will my assessment coupons arrive?
A. Coupons will arrive within a month after the Administration receives your closing papers. The coupons for the following year are mailed in November.
Q. What is the cost to use the golf course?
A. Residents may use the course for FREE. Single residents are entitled to one free guest. Additional guests will be billed the regular rate. ALL residents are required to sign-in guests at the gazebo near the 1st hole. The fee is $5 on weekdays; $7 on weekends and holidays. You will be sent a bill at the beginning of the following month for all guest play.
Q. How do I dispose of my garbage?
A. Regular garbage pick up is Tuesday and Friday. Trash should be bagged and placed in your bin. Cardboard is recycled and picked up by Maintenance. Break down the box and place it next to or in your bin. Newspapers are recycled—bins are located in the large “tennis court” parking lot. Glass and aluminum are recycled—bins are located on the exiting side of Loch Arbor Way. Plastic is not yet recycled and should be placed in with the regular garbage. Please call the Maintenance Department if you have bulk items—please note that there will be a charge.
Also, please read the instructions on, "How to have your bulk trash picked up" in the Documents section of this website.
